This book was made from 1/8th inch plywood, textured tissue paper, handmade paper, ink, card stock, and the added touch of a small stone in the shape of a heart given to me by my daughter. It is used to pray with prayer beads, ( attached on the outside of the book), a finger labyrinth that is one of the pages in the book, in color doodling, as well as the more traditional forms of written journaling. It was designed to help those of us who have a difficult time praying in the more traditional ways. What began as a book of art, turned into an offering of prayer. It was created to help me engage more of myself in the act of connecting to my God and creator. It is an offering of prayer because it allows me to honor and use the gifts that I have been given.
