These flowers are made from layers of painted muslin, felt and dryer sheets. Additional layers are added with Angelina , ribbons ,trims and torn silk. The background is painted muslin with mulberry paper leaves adhered with gloss medium. All leaves and flowers are handstitched in place with French knots, blanket stitch and zigzag stitch. The flowers were attached to the muslin background as shown then layered to green and red painted felt.
