This bird is ceramic, wire, and feathers. It is hand built from clay, with colored slips painted on before firing. After firing, I added the feathers and wire. I like how the wire and feathers add to the texture of the piece, and it was fun to see how it all came together!
awesomely creative, and so cute!!! A friend of mine, years ago, made a red footed booby bird with paper mache…..yes it had boobies and was wearing red shoes…….
