The gnome pictured with the house is a recurring character in my projects. As I was digging through my stash, looking for embellishments – he became my muse and I designed a home around him. It is obviously too small, so he is inspecting with curiosity and trying to classify it's (g)nomenclature.
The piece is constructed of light Styrofoam, shelf liner (it looked like stone to me), doll house shingles, terra cotta pieces, paper, dried moss, and various clippings from fake plants that I found in my home…and public places.

I just love this little house. Styrofoam was a great idea and I like the use of natural material like moss.
Love it!
