An vibrant artistic colony with much creative energies flowing around will need a prayer house I think. A quiet place for contemplation and centering. The design elements of this prayer house are influenced by the meditative traditions of the Yoga, Sufi, Zen and Tibetan Buddhism–the steeple, sloping roof with scroll ends, text on the wall, embellishments, mandala painting and a string of prayer flags.
Materials used are painted scrap papers, repurposed manila folders, paints, ink, silk ribbon, hand painted and stitched fabric, wood and commercial embellishments

This is wonderful!! I wish I could shrink down and go inside! I love the little prayer flags. I can imagine them fluttering in the breeze!
Indira, I think this is your best work!

Beautiful – I love the rich colours!
This is absolutely gorgeous and so original! What a clever interpretation of the theme.
