Moonlight Sew-nata 3

Dimension: 9.75" x 9.75" (on 5/8" deep birch panel)

Background: An original watercolor painting I scanned & printed on matte photo paper. I added bold color & texture with acrylic paint, then layered on tiny hand-cut fabric leaves using soft gel medium.

Foreground: Machine sewn fabric window pane & wall. The dress form is hand-stitched using Sticky-Back Canvas. I stuffed it lightly with cotton balls to give it some "puff" or dimension.  I had so much fun trying to figure out how to make a tiny tomato pin-cushon using red felt & green embroidery floss. That silver bunny was found confetti. Hey, if it's shinny, I'll use it for art :).
