This letter keeper, made of embossed felt and black felt applique, was what I received in a swap. I sent off a letter keeper of the same size in green with contrasting embroidery floss hand stitching — wish I kept a picture of it!

This necklace is a combination of my interest in needle felting, beading, embroidering and wire working. The monsters were created by needle felting their bodies with wool roving, sewing on felt eyes and embroidering their mouths. I used wire to string the monster beads and other wool embroidered beads onto the beaded necklace.
Miss "My Opinion" was made by "felting" fabric onto fabric and wool roving for the hair and blouse on my 7 needle embellisher. The image was then handsewn appliqued onto paper fabric and bordered with paper sewn on by machine. The lettering is also paper sewn by machine.
